En-Suite Camping in Pembrokeshire

We’ll provide the meadow - you make the memories.

Moithan Meadow

Relax and unwind in our peaceful off-grid meadow set deep within the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.  Take a break and relax in our sleepy meadow of wilderness, with big wide-open spaces and views sure to take your breath away. Stroll through our private woodland trail where you’ll find the birds singing and the stream trickling. The Meadow is thoughtfully spaced out to offer each group of guests their own space to enjoy the grassy peaceful pasture.

Our hidden gem

Moithan Meadow is set within 6 acres of unspoiled natural meadow, bordered with two acres of private ancient coppice woodland. Nestled away from country lanes, the Meadow is a peaceful pasture with no sound of passing traffic, only passing wildlife enjoying their Meadow. Star-gazing is the perfect night time treat –  we’ll have the fire-pit ready for you to fire up your BBQ s’mores.

En-suite camping facilities

Our off-grid meadow has 9 individual spaced out pitches which are all accompanied with thoughtfully built wooden shelters. Each shelter includes a Belfast sink (with running water) and a worktop, as well as a wooden picnic bench. Each pitch has their very own compostable toilet, hot shower and a campfire. The Meadow boasts being off-grid but individual solar powered charging lockers are available to use for devices at Ty Croeso reception.

Off-grid with plenty of space to play

There is so much wide-open space for families to enjoy the grassy meadow together. Our woodland trail and fenced pond attract an abundance of local wildlife. Being a part of the ‘Greener Camping’ family, we strive to be truly green and as Carbon Neutral as possible.

Our Meadow Wildlife

The meadow, along with the rest of the farm at Moithan is thriving with wildlife, from Canadian geese, red kites, many varieties of duck, pheasants, woodcock and snipe, all the way down to rare butterflies, hedgehogs, rabbits, and otters. The meadow lends itself well to attracting wildlife. We have already planted over a thousand trees and created Beetle banks, bug hotels and other natural habitats to help our Meadow creatures thrive.

Our family farm

Our farm,’Moithan Fields’ is managed in a traditional way with plenty of exciting projects going on that help encourage nature. You’re sure to find a flock of pedigree Welsh sheep grazing the grassland nearby. Luke started his flock of Pedigree Llanwenog sheep when he was just thirteen years old and has been expanding the flock with his parents ever since. We sell PGI Welsh Lamb direct through our sister business called Made at Moithan.  If you’re interested in pre-ordering a grass-fed Pembrokeshire lamb box to take home with you let us know beforehand.
