The Local AreaPlaces to explore during your stay
Explore our little corner of Pembrokeshire
If you wanted to venture away from our sleepy Meadow during your stay, there are some lovely country walks which go in a loop from Moithan Meadow.
In the village you’ll find our favourite local country inn called Lawrenny Arms with stunning views of the estuary. You’ll also find delicious lunches and fresh bakes at the Quayside Tearooms as well as a community shop.
Just a short drive away, you’ll find so many places to visit. Here are our top five places:
Clerkenhill Adventure Farm – This gem is less than twenty minutes away, with an indoor play barn, adventure trails, crazy golf, outdoor activities, and the home of where frizbee golf is taken very seriously. You’re sure to get a warm Pembrokeshire welcome from the Lewis family.
Wild Lakes, only five minutes from us, where water sports are taken to a whole new level, and if that doesn’t tickle your fancy then they’ve even got a superb cafe with fresh & vibrant dishes where you can enjoy the water but from a distance.
Narberth High Street – just fifteen minutes away, where we’re certain you’ll find what we believe is the best Breakfast Roll at Fforc Deli. You’ll find plenty of independent shops, antique stores, grocers, pubs & cafes.
Cresswell Quay – Turn back the clock with this traditional old pub. Famous for its pints of ale, enjoyed out on the old coal yard overlooking the estuary.
Carew Castle – Take a stroll around the castle and old Mill and take in the history spanning over 2,000 years. This Castle really is picture perfect and is the perfect place to walk off that Sunday lunch at the Carew Inn, just opposite.
There are so many other local places to visit including the ever-popular Folly Farm & Oakwood and the breathtaking Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and its sandy beaches. We’d love to help you plan your days out if you decide to venture beyond Moithan Meadow.
